The Hop And Slide Slope Racing S.T.E.M. learning based educational D.I.Y. toys is a fun and engaging way to introduce children (6-8 years) to the world of gradients and gravity. The kit contains all the elements necessary to create two slide racing tracks and two animals (rhinoceros and kangaroo). Once assembled, children can adjust the gradient of the tracks to figure out which is the perfect angle at which the rhino or the kangaroo hop and slide down the track. Through an engaging racing game, the activity explains the concepts of gradients, motion, friction and weight (gravity).
